RMS Parents 🥰 This message is not going to faculty unless they have a student. This is National Teacher Appreciation Week. Take a moment to have your child make a handwritten note, picture, etc. telling a teacher, granny, bus driver, cook, custodian how much they appreciate them.

RMS Parents 😊 Tuesday is our annual Cultural Day. We could use about 10 adult volunteers who would be willing to help with a few assignments that day. Examples include assisting a presenter with a craft, assisting teachers, photography, etc. 🙌🏼 If you are available, please call our office Monday to sign up.

The following students have candy bars out. Candy and/or money ($60 per box) need to be returned by May 9th. 🚌 Due to amount of rainfall, we are taking the kids to Sequoyah park at Western Hills, located between Hulbert and Wagoner.

5th, 6th, 7th grade parents 🚌 students will be going to Devil's Den State Park tomorrow. They will return before 3:00. Lunch will be provided. 👞 Please wear tennis shoes or boots - no crocs, sandals or flip-flops 😊 Students may bring fishing gear, frisbee, footballs, outdoor games,etc. 😊 Dress in layers and wear sunscreen.

RMS 8th grade 🚌 The bus will leave school at 6:00 AM. Their 3 meals will be provided. They only need spending money. They will go to SDC for the day then I think they will stop by the outlet mall for a bit. They will probably be returning about midnight-ish. I will send a text when they are near Fayetteville area.

RMS Parents ☀️ "Get Your Kicks" at Rocky Mountain Summer Session!! Lots of hands on activities concentrating on reading and math while we also learn about our great state of Oklahoma! Turn in your enrollment forms this week! 🩸 Blood Drive, May 7, please pre-register if possible!!!

RMS 6th and 7th DC trip 🍫 All candy bar money needs to be turned in by Friday. 🗓️ Calendar fundraiser money and calendar need to be turned in by Friday. Drawing will be Monday.

RMS 8th Grade Reminders 🚌 Bring $25 by Thursday for your Silver Dollar City ticket 🌹Each grad receives 2 roses to give at graduation. Any additional roses are $5 each. Money needs to be turned on Thursday. 👨‍🎓 Graduation, 6:30 PM Monday!!!!

RMS 6th grade do not test today. If they stay home, they will be on a virtual day.

Rocky Mountain Athletics are having a Grill Master Basket Fundraiser for new uniforms and equipment. The Athletic Department will purchase the grill and athletes are asked to bring a $10 item for the basket. Fundraiser will start April 26th and tickets and money are due back June 6th. Drawing for the basket will be June 7th. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 each.

RMS Track team is leaving Muskogee. They should return to school approx. 7:25 PM.

RMS State Track 🚀 Be at school at 5:45 AM. 🚌 Bus will leave at 6:00 AM 🏃🏻‍♂️ Field events begin at 9:30 at North Rock Creek, Shawnee. Admission is $6 🏆Go Rockets!!!!!!

RMS 5-8 parents 🚀 Due to various circumstances, 5-8 grade testing will be postponed until tomorrow. They will have a regular class schedule today.

RMS 3rd and 4th parents 🚀 State testing will begin this morning. Kids are nervous. Your child is ready! Be encouraging and help ease their nerves by assuring them that all you and their teacher ask is they take their time and do their best. Speak a little extra life into them this morning. 😊
