😊 Each year, Chas makes time to take pictures of 8th graders. Individually, small groups, large groups, etc. She puts a lot of her own time into editing them for you. She will be taking them on Thursday, April 10th if the weather cooperates. Please plan to wear something nice (like jeans and blouse/shirt) that day. Try to stay away from athletic shorts and t-shirt.

🏃🏻♂️1st - 4th will be going to Zion Track Meet tomorrow. They will be gone all day, but will return before school is out. We will provide sack lunches for students and staff only.
👕Wear a Rocky Mountain Tshirt. Dress in layers - tshirt and shorts underneath, sweats and hoodie over if needed. It gets cool when just sitting waiting.
😊 Students may bring towel or small blanket to sit on, hat, sunscreen, small toy that can be played with while sitting in "camp", concession money.
Whatever they bring needs to fit in their backpack and they are responsible for it.
🚫 No cell phones or electronic devices, pillows, stuffed animals, frisbees, balls, etc.

😊 World Down Syndrome Day was yesterday. We will be celebrating at school on Monday.
💙 Please help your child pick out mismatched or crazy socks and ENCOURAGE them to wear the socks to school on Monday in order to show support for those with Down Syndrome.
💙 Also, the official colors for Down Syndrome awareness are royal blue and yellow. Wear a royal blue or yellow shirt. (How convenient that those are our school colors. Should be relatively easy to find a shirt.)
