RMS 1st and 2nd grade 🏀 If your child did not turn in their basketball shirt yesterday, they need to bring it back for the game today. 🏀 Our teams play this afternoon. Please send black shirts/leggings/sweatpants. 🏀 Concession available

1st and 2nd Parents 🏀 Rocky Mountain Festival is tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday. 🏀 Schedules were sent home, plus it is posted on our school Facebook page. 🏀 Invite grandparents and family members to come watch. This is a fundraiser event for our students who are going to Washington DC.

Kdg and T-1 Parents 🏀 The Dahlonegah Festival is tomorrow, March 4th at Dahlonegah school. 🏀 Girls play at 5:00 PM, boys at 5:30 PM. Please have students at the gym at least a few minutes before their time to play. 🏀 Please wear the school t-shirt that was gifted to students in December and a pair of black shorts/leggings/sweats and tennis shoes.

8th grade parents 🚌 8th graders will leave school at 7:50 AM in order to arrive at Sequoyah in time for the tour. Please be on time and ready to go. 😊The tour will be from 8:30-11:30 AM. We will return to school about 12:00 PM.

Washington DC 25 🏀 Bottle Rocket Festival is a major fundraiser. Students will work in shifts during the school day and in the evening. Not all students will work at the same time. 🏀 Remember to bring concession items. We do not need any frito corn chips. Send other items. 🏀 Students and/or parents should sign up for shifts with Mrs. Weaver. Games are until 9:00 PM on Tuesday and Thursday, then clean up.

8th grade parents 🎓 Some have asked about ordering a graduation cap in order to get it beaded. This is the website...... https://www.economycapandgown.com/matte-cap-tassel You will need to order MATTE (not shiny) Royal Blue. It requires you to order a tassel. This will just give you an extra because we order a tassel for everyone. Cost is $9.70, standard shipping is $15.

1st and 2nd Parents 🏀 Rocky Mountain "Bottle Rocket" Festival will be March 4, 5, and 6. 🏀 Copies of the schedule went home this week. It is also posted on our Facebook page. 📸 Pictures of Peavine Festival are also posted on Facebook.

1st and 2nd Parents We just got word from Peavine that Cave Springs dropped out today. We will have to combine our teams and all girls will play at 3:00 and boys at 3:30. Thank you!!!!!!!!

RMS Robotics ⚙️ Robotics will practice today AND tomorrow until 5:00. ⚙️ They will compete at Dahlonegah on Wednesday and Thursday. Notes will go home today with details.

RMS 1st and 2nd Correction for Tuesday. Yellow teams will play first then blue teams. Coach said that for the most part, 1st grade is yellow, 2nd grade is blue. A few boys play on both teams. If you DO NOT want your student going to Peavine tomorrow or Tuesday, please text me at 918-797-0318 or call the office to let us know. Students need to have tennis shoes and, if possible black shorts. We have tshirts for them to wear.

RMS Feb 24 - 28 So excited to see everyone!! Mon 🏀 1st and 2nd (Mrs. Howe and Mrs. Avila’s classes) @ Peavine Festival. Blue teams play at 4:00 & 4:30, then Yellow teams at 5:00 and 5:30. Bus will take students to the games. Parents should pick students up at Peavine by 5:45 PM. Bring concession money. Tues 🏀 1st and 2nd @ Peavine Festival. Yellow teams play at 2:00 & 2:30. Thank you for sharing his mother's posts to assist with finding him. 💙 Love the compassion our RM community has for our students and their families! 😊 The weather is improving! Hope everyone is able to get out and have a great weekend!

RMS Families ODOT and County Commissioners have done a great job of helping to clear the main roads!! Due to Mother Nature, many backroads (including by the school) and driveways remain snow packed and slick. As much as we would love to return to school, it’s just not safe for buses and many individuals to be out transporting students. Friday, Feb. 21st will be another Snow Day. We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday, February 24th!! 💙🚀

RMS 8th Grade Wednesday 😊 Math - choose an additional option from the 3 choices given yesterday. 😊 Science - Fill a plastic container half full of water set it outside and observe every 30 minutes to see how long it takes to freeze. Write an observation every time they check the container. Example in observation: After 15 minutes water started to become slushy. 😊 English - complete yesterday's essay. 😊 Reading - read library book or free choice online for 30 minutes 😊 History - choose a branch of government that they would most likely want to serve on and write a brief detail of why they chose that branch.
