RMS Reminders 📱No cell phones. If students need to message their family, they can ask to come to the office and use the phone. Phones should be turned completely off, not just on silent. (Constant notifications from games are extremely distracting for students.) 💧Encourage your student to drink water! They may bring a metal or plastic bottle that can completely close when not in use. Drinking water will eliminate headaches and the need for medicine. 💊 If your child needs to take medication during school hours, it must be brought to the office on original container with instructions.

RMS Softball Update 🥎 Due to extreme heat, softball games today have been postponed to next week. NO games today!

BUS INFORMATION and CHANGES ‼️ IMPORTANT!! Any changes in your child's after school destination need to be called in to the office (918-696-7509) by 2:45 each day! 🚌 Jack and Danny's Route are merging and will become the "Rocky Route" 🚌 Pick up at Stilwell and Lyons Switch and Mt View will become the "Town Route" 🚌 Rocky Route changes AM - Fuson's, Cain's and Leach's be ready 20 min early. The rest of the route will be about the same. May vary by 10 minutes. BE PATIENT! Times will be more established in couple days. PM - times may vary by 10-15 minutes 🚌 Town Route changes AM - no changes PM - bus will go to town first 3:25, then to Lyons 3:40, then Mt. View 3:50

RMS Parents There was a behavior incident this afternoon on the "town" bus. I am aware of the incident and have already been in contact with the parents. I assure you this incident is being addressed and discipline measures are being taken. I am asking parents to remind your students: 1. They are under the authority of school rules and all school personnel from the time they are at the bus stop until they arrive back into your care. 2. Riding the bus is a privilege. Misbehaving can result in assigned seats and/or suspension from the bus and/or school. I also ask parents to visit with your students concerning posting videos, pictures, etc. to social media. There were videos taken today. While these videos are helpful to me and the child's parents, remind your child it should not be shared in social media. We wouldn't want it posted of our own child, please help protect another parent's child. As always, let me know if you have questions and concerns. Helping our kids learn and grow from mistakes takes a village. We are better together.
