1st and 2nd Parents…… 🏀 We will have our 1/2 grade “Bottle Rocket” basketball festival February 15-17. We will be sending out the schedule this week. Most games will be after school/during the evening. Tell the grandparents, aunts and uncles and neighbors to mark their calendar for some adorable entertainment! 😊

6th and 7th Parents…… ❤️ Your kids will conduct a Valentine Fundraiser to raise money for Washington DC trip. ❤️ Students need to bring small cans of pop and a bag of individually wrapped candy by Thursday of this week. 🏀 The next fundraiser will be the 1/2 grade basketball festival, Feb 15-17 (I think). We will need students and some parents to work. We will get you info on concession items we will need.

State 🏀 Parents…… 🚀 Players and Cheerleaders will leave about 8:00 AM Thursday 🚀 Reservations for students and staff are at Hampton Inn in Shawnee 🚀Students need to pack clothes for Friday and Saturday. 🚀 Parents can send snacks for snack packs that we will prepare for the kids and sponsors by Wednesday. Please send 25. We have plenty of water and Gatorade. 🚀 Meals and room will be paid for. 🚀 Students can bring money for shopping, etc.

ORES Division 3, East Area Consolation Finals for Norwood, Moseley, and Dahlonegah are rescheduled for Monday. Due to a shortage of refs, teams will be playing at Maryetta. Huge thank you to all RM staff who helped make the tournament games at our site a success!

Each child was given a paper/pencil packet of review work or other instructions either yesterday or today. There will not be any work that needs to be completed online. RMS Parents…… As of right now, we will be having school tomorrow (Wednesday). We will continue to monitor the weather situation and if needed, will send an update in the morning. We have sent packets home with students in case we need to transition to distance learning. Stay tuned. 😊

Jan 24-29 😷 We are going to request wearing masks for one more week. We have seen a significant drop in the numbers who are sick with various illnesses. Hopefully, it will be warmer weather this week and everyone will heal. THANK YOU for everyone willing to do everything we can to keep everyone healthy. Students have a note 🏀 ORES Regional Playoffs, Rocky Mtn will host which will be a help to parents and fans. Girls play Dahlonegah at 12:00, boys play Dahlonegah at 1:00. Admission is $6.00. We will post brackets on FB tomorrow.

Calendar Updates 🏀 7/8 basketball game tonight has been changed from 6:00 PM to 5:00 PM. ⚙️ Robotics meet has been changed from January 22 to January 29

RMS Parents, 🥶 Tomorrow’s wind chills are expected to be very cold. Bus riders should stay in the house or warm vehicle until the bus arrives, then go outside to board. Layer your child’s clothes. We will only be outside in order to change buildings.

🍀 4-H Image Dress 3-8 grade students were given information today. Any member who wants to participate, should come dressed tomorrow for one of the categories listed on their information sheet. This year’s event is virtual so Mrs. Frances will take students’ pictures and submit it to the local 4-H office.
