Rocky Mountain School

March 16, 2020 RMS staff and parents, As many of you are aware, State Superintendent Hofmeister called an emergency board meeting this afternoon of the state board of education. The state board just voted to cease school and school activities for all public schools in the state of Oklahoma until April 6th. In the next few days, I will be giving you additional information concerning such items as meals for students, community supports, and guidance on continuing your child’s learning during this time. I appreciate the continued support of Rocky Mountain school. We are blessed with a wonderful community. February School Board Meeting

Students attending state Basketball playoffs Will leave school Thursday morning. Players and cheerleaders need to pack with the intent of not returning home until late Saturday night. We will be making 33 snack bags for those going Thursday. We have plenty of water and Gatorade. If you would like to contribute, please send snacks to school by Wednesday morning so that we can get them assembled and ready to go. Thank you!

February 10-15 ❤️❤️ All Valentine deliveries will be accepted on Thursday, February 13th only. ❤️❤️ Monday 🧁 6/7 grade is selling Valentine boxes for $6. Boxes include a cupcake, pop, candy and wack a pack balloon. Orders and money are due Monday Thursday 🏀 ORES State Tournament @ Dale High School. Rocky Mountain Rockets play in the ORES Division 3 Area Finals tonight. Girls and boys will play Lowrey at Rocky Mountain. Game times are 7:00 & 8:00! All ORES tickets are $5. Come watch and cheer on the Rockets! Go Rockets!!! 💙🚀🏀

Rocky Mountain School will be closed today. Radar projections show the freezing line moving in about 10:00. Stay safe and have a good day.

RMS - we will continue to monitor the weather and let you know a decision with a call and text if road conditions deteriorate. The forecast places us on a line that could hit or miss us. As always, students’ safety is a main concern. Please make appropriate arrangements should the weather move into our area and cause us to close.

🐷 Blue and Gold will be delivered today. Orders may be picked up beginning at 1:00. This product will need to be kept frozen for delivery.
