RMS families, Even though a lot has melted today, the RM roads/hills are still not safe for buses and those who are not careful drivers. Temperatures are going to also cause many places to refreeze and be slick in the morning. 😢 RMS will remain virtual for Friday, February 3rd. Using Personification(through the snowflake's point of view) tell me in one paragraph where you would like to land, and why you chose that spot. (remember to paint me a picture with your words by using adjectives and Figurative Language). When you return to school bring your snowflake, we will hang them up and decorate our room with them. Science- Make paper airplanes and see whose goes the farthest.

Feb 2 KDG, Mrs. Vann Reading- Read for 10 minutes. Talk about, draw a picture, and write a sentence about the story setting. Writing- Practice Writing short I CVC( consonant vowel consonant)words. Rainbow write the words. Pig, dig, wig, sit, bit, kit, bin, tin, win, rip, zip, sip. Math- Talk about the different coins and their characteristics. For example, a penny is brown, a dime is the smallest coin, continue with nickels and quarters. If you have spare change sort coins into groups of pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. Talk about how much each coin is worth.
